Doreen,

May God answer all of our prayers to be more like Him!
Bless you too!

Doreen

Okay, now I'm going to be asking myself what I'm going through if it's a temptation, a trial, or training. :) Great Word for us Susie!! Lord help me to be full of faith, love and abound in mercy toward others!

Dear Linda,

I'm sorry you're walking through a time of testing and yet I know from my own life that God is deeply involved with us during such times. He is watching us close, urging us on, reminding us to believe, and encouraging us to grow in faith. Those trying times are the fertile soil for growth and maturity. May you continue to trust Him as you walk through this season! Blessings to you!

Susie,
Thank you for your devotional entitled, "Focused and Purposeful", it is of interest to me in the way that, I am presently going through, what; I might say, is that my training as a child, and Faith as of times before, is being tested; and this has really been a season of trials for me. Also, training, tests, and being naturally forcused as an adult, tapes, books, speakers, life groups, and of course being in church as a child, as always been an inspiration in hearing experiences of others; such as yourself. Thank you. However, as I go through these trials, and being/having patience through them all; then, I can really say; "I count it all joy, when/and at all times my patience is put to the test." Then when I come through,it is at that time when the the light of Christ in all his Glory comes in and and gives that peace that passes all understanding. It is my mind set as I continue to go on about my daily business of living life, God gives me, the continued strength to trust Him more and more; now and in the future. His Wisdom from understanding from my past, and now in my present, and future life situations helps me to know how much I have grown from my training in good Christian service, as well as being in his word daily and putting to practice, the best I can, from as a child and now in my adult years in putting forth knowledge and understanding that God's Wisdom has assured me of His continued Love that gets me through just one more day. I am reminded of his presence and just being there past, present, and in the future for all of us. Thanks be to the Lord. Thank you so very much, Susie for your precious life, and ministry in the Lord. In his Love,

Linda D.

Dear Jennifer,

May God bless you with great peace and assurance as you wait on Him! May He give you glimpses of His glory so that your heart can rest secure in the knowledge that He is working all around you. God bless you!

Susie Larson

Dear Rachel,

Thanks for stopping by! I think it's so important to have the presence of mind to stop in our tracks and assess the situation before we react to it; don't you? May God give us the divine instinct to identify the source of our trial and to respond to HIM accordingly. Bless you!

Susie Larson

Dear Stephanie,

Thanks for your post. I know I'll need this reminder from time to time as well. It's far too easy to allow our circumstances to derail us when we least expect it. May we start every day with a resolute focus and assurance that God is with us and overwhelming victory is ours when we stay in step with Him. Amen!

Rebecca,

I loved David's proclamation in Psalm 112! That's a Psalm we've been reading over and over again! Talk about being focused and purposeful. We are in a time of great shaking and it's more important than ever to have our feet firmly placed on the Rock of our Salvation. We will not be moved! Bless you, sweet sister!

Jennifer

Just what I needed to be reminded of...again! Am in the process of waiting and trusting and I am feeling the frustration and the anger sometimes. I feel as though I continually need to be refocused. Oh to keep my eyes only on HIM!! It truly is a battle some days. Thank you for your encouraging words!

Rachel

So good! I'll be asking myself from now on...Is this temptation, a trial, or training?

Thanks for sharing!

Stephenie

Well said! I'm going to be thinking about this post for quite a while.

Rebecca

I want to be like David when he says in Psalm 112:7- He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.
Thank you so much for this blog! God wants me to trust Him no matter what. He wants my full attention! He wants me to trust His word and not my emotions which often lie to me.
I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was taking part in the Global Day of Prayer meeting. It was on Sunday evening and God showed up in amazing ways! Over 220 nations participated in this prayer event and prayed the same prayer. Our pray was found in 2 Chronicles 7:14- if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
God is leading His people into deeper waters and we need His power in order to stay focused. My hearts cry is to see lives changed by Jesus Christ. Just like He did for me.
God is proving Himself to be faithful over and over.

God is so good!
~Rich blessings to you sweet Susie:)
